Hospital Programs Assistant (Evening)  
Reports To: Hospital Programs Supervisor  
Work Locations: 1510 Main Street West, Hamilton, ON
                           1200 Main Street West, Hamilton, ON

The Hospital Programs Assistant (HPA) reports to the Hospital Programs Supervisor (HPS) providing support to the day-to-day operation of the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms (RMFR) program and the Happy Wheels Hospitality Cart (HWHC) program.     
The Hospital Programs Assistant will support the Hospital Programs Supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the RMFRs and HWHC ensuring quality programs, stocked supplies, and volunteer coverage, all while offering the highest level of service to families. The Hospital Programs Assistant will also support the training, scheduling and evaluating of all RMFR and HWHC volunteers.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills
  • Proven excellence in organization, prioritization and attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Monday – Friday: 2pm-10pm
  • May be required to work some daytime and/or weekend shifts as well as some Statutory Holidays
  • Ability to adjust schedule, as required, to ensure the needs of the RMFRs and HWHC are met
