My husband and I were so excited to find out we were expecting twins, however when I woke up on March 11, 2013 I knew something was very wrong. I was quickly transferred to McMaster and by the next morning our beautiful boys (Dylan and Kegan) were born at 850g and 870g.
My husband and I went through so much during our 2 ½ month stay at Ronald McDonald House Charities® South Central Ontario (RMHC®SCO), it was a place that we could go to take deep breaths and compose ourselves amidst the worry. If we didn’t have the House the financial burden would have been significant for us given the long duration of our stay in Hamilton.
We are so grateful for the care and kindness we received at the House. RMHCSCO did everything in their power to make us feel comfortable during such a hard time in our life.
